Conference Highlights
- An innovative conference program on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 December with presentations, panels, special interest groups and posters. But…in line with this year’s theme – Freshen Up Your Toolkit To Support International Students And Refresh Yourself – this is not your usual jampacked ‘go go go’ kind of conference. It will be one that will allow time to really refresh by alternating learning and healthy activities throughout.
- South Australian education institutions have joined forces to create a self-paced Adelaide City Discovery Tour in the afternoon of Tuesday 3 December, ending with a rooftop welcome at Strathmore Hotel.
- A fabulous conference dinner. The dinner theme for 2024 is Tropical Islands, so pack your best Hawaiian shirts and Hula outfits!

Explore the vibrant heart of Adelaide on a self-guided walking tour of the North Terrace and its surroundings on Tuesday, 3 December 2024. This event is designed for those arriving early for the conference, and offers a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the charm of Adelaide’s tree-lined CBD while getting to know fellow delegates.
Tour highlights:
- Familiarise yourself with the area around the Adelaide Convention Centre and its stunning river walk.
- Admire the historic buildings at the University of Adelaide, surrounded by lush gardens and significant landmarks.
- Visit the University of South Australia and the TAFE SA City campus on the west end of the city.

This self-paced tour is designed to be completed between 2 and 5:30 pm, allowing you to take in the sights at your own leisure, and providing a perfect blend of education, culture, and relaxation before the conference begins.
