Managing under 18s – a school’s perspective for compliance and support across a large system

This session will look at the requirements, legislation and approaches to providing a safe and supportive environment for under 18s. With the growth of under 18s enrolling in ELICOS and foundation courses, this session is really for those with under 18 students in other sectors. There will be an overview of legislation, requirements, examples of best practice and discussion of scenarios and real issues for providers. The session will have a focus on Standard 5 of the National Code.
